The ACOUSTAR "D" is a full size Dreadnaught guitar with many features not found on any other guitar.   With a full 25 1/4" scale, and a full 15.5" X 5.5" body, the ACOUSTAR "D" has a full. rich tone not found in other Acoustic guitars at twice the price.  The unique back bracing allows the entire back of the guitar to be used as an additional soundboard, providing big fat bass response not expected from a guitar in this price range.  Playability is second to none, due to the inclusion of an ADJUSTABLE NUT and 3 BRIDGE SADDLES.  You can quickly set the action exactly the way you like it.  The bound neck is really comfortable, with nice fretwork, and inlays.  All ACOUSTAR guitars come with a hard maple neck for maximum strength and sustain.   

The "D" model features a laminated select spruce top, and linden wood back and sides.  These are stained a rich, light mahogany color , with cream binding on the top and bottom edges of the body.  The sound hole is also bound, to prevent any damage when removing the neck.  Yes, that is a real inlay surrounding the sound hole.   Hard maple is the only wood used to make the necks for all ACOUSTARS.  The rosewood fingerboard is bound for comfort, and strap buttons are also included.

On the "DL" model, the headstock is beautifully bound, adding to the overall appearance and protecting the edges.   The ACOUSTAR name is hand-inlayed with mother-of-pearl.   The soundboard is bookmatched laminated spruce.  The back and sides are laminated rosewood, for beauty and tone quality.  The sound hole is bound and surrounded with a real mother-of-pearl inlay ring.  Fingerboard binding gives both protection and comfort, plus trap buttons are included.
