MINISTAR PRO electric guitars are designed to emulate the most popular styles of electric guitar available.  We match both scale string length and pickup configuration, but...we go much further.  MINISTAR PRO guitars now have an adjustable bridge or vibrato that is capable of setting individual string height, length, and spacing.  Once you set your MINISTAR PRO exactly how you want it to play, you can then LOCK each individual saddle in its specific setting.  Once locked, the bridge becomes a solid mass, increasing sustain and insuring the setting will not shift.  No more buzzing saddle mechanisms, and due to the unique "O" centering design, there are absolutely no buzzes from the string as it exits the saddle.  You can select your new MINISTAR PRO to have either the Compensating Bridge or the Compensating Vibrato.  This new bridge or vibrato can also be retrofitted to any previous MINISTAR electric guitar model.  This includes the Microstar, Rockstar, Testar, Lestar, Castar, and Jazzstar.  It is very easy to install these on any model of MINISTAR.  Only 3 screws are required to mount the bridge, and 4 screws to mount the vibrato.  That's it.  No wood cutting or modification necessary.  The vibrato has a very smooth action, and always returns to pitch due to the knife-edge design.  All MINISTAR PRO models come with an adjustable nut that allows you to set the string height as close as "Mother Nature will allow!"  No guitar can play easier, regardless of price.  We make our own pickups.  They are comparable to the pickups used in the specific guitar we emulate, except we put a few extra windings on the coils to increase the output.  We also use individual Alnico magnets for each string.  No need to replace MINISTAR PRO pickups with high priced models.  Our pickups deliver the tone, drive, and flexibility you are looking for.  Below is a description of each MINISTAR PRO model, and the popular guitar it emulates as to pickup configuration and scale length.

MICROSTAR PRO

MICROSTAR PRO is a unique design, with a 19" scale string length.  This short scale lets you carry your Microstar Pro in suitcases, or in the smallest imaginable space.  The built-in headphone/tuner/overdrive gives you instant access to digitally tune the guitar, and play it clean or "nasty!"  You should use heavier guage strings on the Microstar, as using light guage strings on this short scale makes the strings feel like rubber bands, and does not play in tune consistently.  Using a medium guage of strings (.12-.52) will produce much better tone quality, and play perfectly in tune. 

ROCKSTAR PRO

ROCKSTAR PRO is a "straight-ahead" rock guitar with a single P-90 style pickup.  This pickup is placed at a point that delivers maximum tonal range and harmonic content.   With a 25 1/2" scale length, you get all the fat sustain you ever need, yet it cuts though on those bright leads.

TESTAR PRO

TESTAR PRO is the clean machine.  The cutting leads produced using the super bright lead pickup have to be heard.  The contrast between this and the mellow rhythm pickup gives the most tone flexibility of any MINISTAR PRO.  We add an extra switch to throw the 2 single coil pickups "out-of-phase" with each other when the pickup selector switch is in the center position.  The result is that hollow "pock" sound used on many country and blues leads.  Compare the TESTAR PRO to a Telecaster.

LESTAR PRO

LESTAR PRO is a Les Paul that weighs less than 3 lbs.  Don't be fooled into believing that it takes a 14 lb. guitar to get a really fat blues sound.  Just close your eyes, and you won't hear the difference.  The 2 humbucking pickups are matched for perfect control, and a simple hi-pass volume and tone circuit do nothing to hide this amazing sound.  LESTAR PRO compares to a Les Paul.

CASTAR PRO

CASTAR PRO is our version of the most popular electric guitar in the world, with a few improvements.  The vibrato ALWAYS COMES BACK TO PITCH, and the grain-thru construction vastly improves the sustain capabilities.  From biting leads to mellow backgrounds, and everything in between, the CASTAR PRO is in a class by itself.  CASTAR PRO compares to a Stratocaster.

CASTAR II PRO

CASTAR II PRO is the same as the CASTAR PRO except for use of a hot humbucking pickup in the lead position.  Like the CASTAR PRO, the CASTAR PRO II compares to a Stratocaster.

JAZZSTAR PRO

JAZZSTAR PRO is the most mellow Ministar.  Your ears will tell you there's a big "F-HOLE" body behind that smooth sound.  It is impossible to get a bad tone from the JAZZSTAR PRO, and feedback is non-existant.  JAZZSTAR PRO compares to any good "F" hole jazz guitar.
